Surrey country garden

This new build house’s garden was a complete blank canvas. Besides designing a beautiful country garden we had to provide more privacy and find some way of disguising the seven manhole covers. The design made the most of the wide shallow plot by drawing the eye to the furthest corners, lengthening the pleached hedge for more privacy and concealing most of the manhole covers in the paving and borders. The planting has matured well and the client is enjoying looking after it. To read more of how this garden was built read here.
